What is CMP?
Canadian Macedonian Place is an apartment complex for people 65 years of age and over. Providing residents with an independent lifestyle in the midst of an active neighbourhood. Canadian Macedonian Place is the ideal place for seniors to live.

Can I cook for myself?
Yes, each suite has a fully equipped kitchen.

Can I go out anytime I want?
You may come and go as you please.

Can I do my own laundry?
Yes. There are laundry facilities available in the building for your personal use.

Will I be able to bring my vehicle?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your car. Designated parking spaces will be assigned. These spaces are subject to availability, and an additional charge.

Can I bring my own furniture?
Your suite is your home so you are encouraged to bring your furniture and personal belongings.

How will I meet new people when I move in?
You may come and go as you please.

Are there nurses or doctors on-site?
No, there is no extra care on-site. There is Personal Support Workers from CCAC for personal care (bathing, dressing) and Home Making from Woodgreen providing and assisting with light housekeeping.

Is there a waiting list?
Yes, an application and medical form needs to be filled out before putting your name on the waiting list.
